our team of branding mavericks started with defining the look & feel for the new film festival kid on the block. taking inspiration from LA’s laid back energy it was clear to us to stick to the basics.
the lafff website is the hub for the fest, home to films, festival program, sponsors, events and so much more. a straight forward, grid approach was applied to keep the user flowing through the constant ebb and flow of info.
Facebook, Instagram, Vero and Vimeo are the social tools we activated and used to spread the good word. A weekly and daily strategic approach was used to both announce the launch of the fest and then to reach the attending audience.
Published by kulturspace, RV, creates and curates inspiring content along with immersive experiences to bridge audiences into the fascinating world of fashion & lifestyle. The print magazines centerfold was home to the LAFFF program.

a digital gif exhibition that showcased animated artworks of established and emerging graphic designers from all over the world both with an LA exhibition and online brand channel in Giphy that has seen 17M+ views.
We devised a dedicated video archive showcasing all film submissions, nominations, shortlisted and winning films giving a home to these valuable films and online real estate for the filmmakers.
From VR to GIF walls, LAFFF was full of experiences to keep guests engaged from sunrise to sunset.
